Renewable solar energy is one of the best power sources that is available on the planet today and at the same time we have barely scratched the surface of efficient usage of renewable solar energy.
Ever since humans have appeared on the planet they have worshiped the sun as the supreme god due to it’s power to cover the world with light and also to make the crops that kept everyone alive grow. Easily people started to realise the true power of the sun and now great efforts are made in order to somehow harness the power of the suns rays.
It is said that is we would be able to catch the whole percentage of renewable solar energy that the planet receives daily for only one whole minute so that is for 60 seconds, then we would be able to power the whole planet for one entire year. Even though it is 130 million miles away the sun still remains by far the most powerful source of energy we know of in existence. So we have established from the beginning the full power of renewable solar energy however we should also discuss a bit about the core of renewable solar energy.
First of all the term renewable solar energy includes the concept that the energy source would be renewed on a daily basis by itself and it will never end as it represents a natural process. This applies completely for renewable solar energy and not only that. On the planet we currently inhabit we have three main sources of renewable energy and these are renewable solar energy , water energy and wind energy and for all three of them great efforts are made in order to advance this technology quicker.
The most common form of tool used at the moment to harness some of this renewable solar energy is the solar panel or originally known as photovoltaic panel. This tool is used both in industrial and residential domains in order to provide you with some renewable solar energy to power your house. To be straight to the point the light that is provided by the sun is transformed directly into electricity and thus the concept of renewable solar energy is born. The light that hits the photovoltaic panel provides DC or direct current to the power grid which later on uses an inverter to transform it into AC or alternative current so you can use the renewable solar energy to power the appliances that are in your house or in your company.
Renewable solar energy can also be used for water heating where a small mechanism is involved that provides a pipe that will feed water up to an installation that has solar panels included in it’s design and that traps good amounts of heat and renewable solar energy so that the water is properly heated and then passed on through another pipe into the main water tank.
At the same time I am pretty sure that most of you are not aware of the the fact that renewable solar energy is used to power the satellites that are orbiting the earth. This is actually where renewable solar energy is best harnessed as the satellites are relatively closer to the sun and in outer space you have no weather conditions such as wind or clouds to cover the sun. Except the cold temperatures that are in space , satellites are most able to capture great amounts of renewable solar energy .
I do believe that renewable solar energy will bring the planet back to it’s former glory and help us survive for thousands of years to follow.
